Here is an easy affordable way to help you discover that you really can paint! Do you like to draw and think you'd like the challenge to try your hand at painting? Oil painting for the first time can certainly be intimidating, and supplies can be expensive. But with some basic guidance you will find that you can paint! This course will cover the absolute basic lessons to begin oil painting-and the painting supplies will be provided for you!. The first two sessions students will work in only black and white paint to experience what it is like to mix paint and apply it to canvas. The second two sessions students will do a basic exercise in color. Paints, brushes and canvas will be provided for each student. For this course it would be helpful if the student has some drawing skill. (Students must be capable to draw the lesson on the canvas before painting it).
